KATHLEEN (KAE) DOROTHY MCINTOSH (nee MILSOM) Peacefully after a short illness, Kae passed away on December 16, 2004 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 86 years. Kae will be sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Davis (Dave); daughter Arlene; and son-in-law William (Bill) Gray; grandson Jeff and wife Darlene; great-grandsons, Dylan and Brendan; grandson Gary and Tiffany. She will also be remembered by her sisters, Eileen (Peter) Crowley and Ruth Beckman; brother-in-law Bill McIntosh of Cranbrook, BC; sister-in-law Roberta (Fred) Davidson of Burnaby, BC; brother-in-law Quinton Lawson of Lambertville, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Cyril and Edna Milsom; sister Marjorie Lawson; and brother-in-law Richard Beckman. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Kae first worked at Eaton's mail order. During the war years, she worked at the War Prices and Trade Board in Halifax, NS and later for the American army in St. Johns, NF. After retirement, Dave and Kae spent 28 happy winters in Clearwater, FL. Thank you to the nurses and staff on the Fifth Floor Grace Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Society of Manitoba, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
