PETER DUZE April 3, 1925- December 16, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Duze at the St. Boniface Hospital on December 16, 2004. Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, in 2002. He will be missed by sister Anne Van Ess of Winnipeg and brother-in-law Nick (Margaret) Mozel of Oakville, Ontario, as well his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Peter worked most of his career at Canada Packers Ltd. in the meat packing division. He will be always remembered by his loyalty and sense of humour. You could always find Peter and Mary on summer weekends at their cottage in Winnipeg Beach. Guests never left before having one of Peter's little refreshments and Mary's quiches. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital, WeCare and Home Care. Their support made it possible for Peter to return home for a brief yet meaningful period. Vivian and Terri would also like to express their personal thanks to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of St. Boniface General Hospital for their care and compassion in Peter's final days. Funeral service will be held on Monday December 20, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., at 11:00 am with Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Hooper, Ralph Lorusso, Robert Dryburgh, Bill Mozel, Ron Mikolyshyn and Albert Mota. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, or a charity of one's choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
