ANNIE KOZYRA 1908 - 2004 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Annie Kozyra on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the Maples Personal Care Home. She is survived by her nephew Walter Fedak (Jean), their children Peter and Mike; niece Olga Matanchuk; dear friends Sonia and Harry Stefaniuk. Annie was predeceased by her husband Myron, brother Nick Fedak, sister and brothers in the Ukraine. Annie came to Canada in 1928 and lived with her brother Nick and sister-in-law Eugenia. She worked at many jobs but her longest employment was with Gun Garment where she worked with her husband until their retirement in 1970. Annie and Myron were married on November 8, 1933. They travelled extensively to Ukraine, across Canada, U.S.A., and Hawaii. She belonged to the Workers Benevolent Association and the Association of the United Ukrainian Canadians. They loved Ukrainian Culture and participated in the activities. At her request cremation has taken place, a private service will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home, second floor, for their care and compassion. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
