SIGURVEIG ODGER (nee ARASON) Peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, Sigurveig passed away at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli, MB. She is lovingly remembered by her husband William; her daughter Lynn (Kevin); her son Patrick; her granddaughter Allison; her brother John Arason; her sisters-in-law Lorraine (Donald) Burnaby and Joyce (Ken) Schmid, as well as many other relatives. Sigurveig was born and raised on her family's farm, Kjalvik, in Husavik. She left at age 18 to attend business college in Winnipeg, MB. She worked for Imperial Tobacco until she and William began raising their family. Upon retirement they moved back to Husavik. Sigurveig enjoyed gardening, curling, and snowmobiling of which she was looking forward to this winter. She also spent many years travelling with family including a few winters in Arizona. She loved to laugh and make others around her laugh too. She will be remembered in our hearts always. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gimli Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank Dr. R. C. Patel and the nurses at Johnson Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
