WILLIAM BILL HALL Bill Hall, cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on Friday, December 17, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 61 years Phyllis; daughter Brenda Karvonen (Doug) of Kelowna and their children, Allisa of Vancouver and Andrew (Paula) of Saskatoon; daughter Linda Boehm (Ed) of Winnipeg and their daughter Laurena O'Connor (Dan) of Winnipeg; and son Bradley Hall (Ann) of Stonewall and their sons Mitchell, Joshua and Jonathon. He is also survived by two brothers, Ron Hall (Ann) of Oakville, ON and Geoff Hall of San Diego, CA. He was predeceased by a son Douglas Hall and a grandson Jonathan Boehm. Bill was born in Regina, SK in 1919 to Hilda and Cedric Hall. As a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in Civil Engineering, he had a successful career with the PFRA and was the regional director of the Manitoba Branch upon his retirement. Bill was a wonderful husband and a dedicated father and grandfather. He was a true friend and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. It is with love we will celebrate Bill's life at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Special thanks to Dr. Brian Sharkey and the Palliative Home Care Staff, as well as the staff of the Riverview Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
