Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE STUNICK (nee MAKUS) After a courageous battle with cancer, Elsie Stunick passed away peacefully on December 16, 2004 at the age of 77 years in Saskatoon, SK. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by son Jerry Stunick and daughter-in-law Barbara, granddaughter Kim, great-granddaughter Haley, grandson Chris, great-grandson Christopher of Winnipeg; daughter Cheryl Stunick of Winnipeg; daughter Judy Gingras and son-in-law Arthur, grandson Robert, grandson George, great-grandson Kaleb of Saskatoon, grandson Michael, great-granddaughter Danielle of Winnipeg; brothers, Ed Makus and family, Victor Summerfield and family of Winnipeg. She will also be missed by many relatives and friends. Elsie was born in Winnipeg, September 7, 1927. At a very young age Elsie moved to Moosehorn, where she grew up. Working ventures brought her to Winnipeg where she worked as a seamstress. Elsie married John February 17, 1945 and together they raised their family. Retirement years were spent in Ashern and then Saskatoon. Elsie was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Congregation in areas of Winnipeg, Ashern, Vegreville, Outlook and Saskatoon, where she had many friends. The family expresses a special thank you to the caregivers of Home Style Care Home of Saskatoon. Their sincere commitment, concern and kindness made our mother's passing so much easier, also to the Homecare nurses and caregivers of paliative care. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be sent to the Cancer Society. Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date with Arnason's Funeral Home, Ashern, MB. Arrangements have been entrusted to Prairie View Chapel Crematorium of Saskatoon.
