ADELINE (ANN) BACHEWICH (nee ANTOFICHUK) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved Mom, mother-in-law, Grandma, sister and friend, Ann Bachewich at the age of 70 years on Sunday, December 19, 2004. Mom was born on March 29, 1934 in Kamarno, MB to Mike and Jean Antofichuk. She married Donald Bachewich on October 4, 1958. Mom spent her working life as a short order cook with the highlight being the purchase of DNA Snack Bar, in Garson, which she and Dad bought in September 1972 and operated until 1994 upon her retirement. Mom leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Carol and son-in-law Mike Pearson; grandchildren, Jasmine, Zachariah, Joshua and Noah Pearson; sisters, Mary (Tony) Scheepers, Irene Cozens and Mavis (Steve Maydanuk); many nieces and nephews and special friend Joe Chmelnicki. Mom was predeceased by Dad, Don Bachewich (1992); parents Mike (1986) and Jean (1980) and a sister Joan (1951) in childhood. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E. Beausejour, MB. Interment to follow in the Garson Cemetery.
