JOY PICKERING Peacefully with family at her side, Joy Pickering, aged 57, beloved wife of Orville, passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on December 20, 2004. Joy was predeceased by her parents Gunnar and Anna Palson; infant brother Wallace, brother Vincent; and brothers-in-law, Fred Mackara, Norman Johnson, Kelvern and Fred Pickering; sister-in-law Gerri Palson; and stepson Robert. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Orville; son Bob, special son George, step-children, Ingrid (Gil), Tom (Dana); stepdaughter-in-law Janet; grandchildren, Randy, Dale, Robert Jaclyn, Erik, Jared and Owen; brothers, Fred, Gunnar (Lorraine), John (Kathy), Victor (Donna); brothers-in-law, George (Joey), Larry (Bernice), Elwood (Marie); sisters, Dora (Raymond), Lillian, Gay, Fay (Richard); sisters-in-law, Emily (Paul), Florence (Gorden), Kathleen (Jake), Arlene (Ron); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place a private family burial will take place and a memorial service will be held on Monday December 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverton Community Hall in Riverton, MB, officiated by Trudy Thoronenson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hnausa Cemetery, care of Roy Sigurdson, Riverton, MB R0C 2R0.
