KATHERINE HOOTH (TURZAK) (WYWIURKA) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Katherine Hooth on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Katherine is survived and will be dearly missed by her sister Marie Bazylewicz, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Mary and Gladys. Katherine was predeceased by her husband Walter (2002); her parents John and Michalina; sisters, Stella, Anne, Margaret, Rosalie and brothers, Mike, Walter and Bill. Katherine was born and raised in East Kildonan. The divine liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Watt and Munroe with Fr. Darren Kawiuk as celebrant. Entombment will follow at the Assumption Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made in Katherine's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
