JOHN OGIBOWSKI It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of John in his 87th year on Thursday, December 23, 2004, at Chez Nous Seniors Citizen Home. John was predeceased by his beloved wife Rosebelle on April 23, 1997; one daughter Lydia Gay in 1963; one sister Mary; three brothers, Roy, Roger and Joe all of Winnipeg, MB. John will be sadly missed by his daughter Maureen Jaques; and his grandchildren, Kristen Jaques and her husband David Coulter of Mississauga, ON, and John Jaques of Calgary; brothers, Teddy, Moose Jaw, Stanley of Vancouver, Charles, Adam and Anthony of Winnipeg; sisters, Agnes, Helen and Wanda of Winnipeg. A Prayer Service will be held at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St. W., Moose Jaw on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1064 - 3rd Ave. NW, Moose Jaw with Fr. Alex Osei, C.S.Sp. as Presiding Celebrant. Interment will take place in Saint Boniface Cemetery, Saint Boniface, MB. In lieu of flowers and in memory of John, donations to the ANAVETS, 112 - 1st Ave. NE, Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 0Y8 or the charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated. Our family would like to extend thanks to Manon Desruisseaux and all the wonderful staff at Chez Nous Seniors Citizen Home for taking care of our Dad/Gagu with care, dignity and commitment over the past two years. Maureen would also like to thank her extraordinary friends, Phyllis who has been more like a sister and her husband Alvin Wolf, Mortlach, SK, who opened their home to me, gave me unconditional support, love and generosity over the past two years whenever I needed it or came to Moose Jaw. And last but by no means least Flo Davis, Regina, SK, who over the past two years has become a new sister, thank you for sharing your home and giving me your love and support.
