JOHN MANKIR It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on December 25, 2004 at the age of 76 years. John was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Nick; stepfather Alec Boyko; and his brother Bill. He is survived by his wife Helen; daughter Cathy (Bill); son-in-law Ken; grandchildren, Jennifer, Christa and Marshall; sister Ann (Aimie); sister-in-law Lorna; brother-in-law Michael (Ethel); and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be offered at the Holy Eucharist Parish Church, (Watt at Monroe) on Wednesday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Eucharist Parish Church. Fr. Darren Kawiuk Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R2M 2W7.
