Date of Passing: Dec 25, 2004
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMORRIS (MOE) ISENBERG On December 25, 2004 Dad suddenly passed away. Mourning his loss, his loving partner and wife of 61 years Cookie, as he affectionately called her. Survived by his children, Shelley Pfeffer, Shawnee Greenberg (Harvey), David Isenberg (Jean) and grandchildren, Daniel, Naomi, Aaron and Leah Pfeffer and Will Greenberg. Predeceased by his son Bernie, mother Sonia Isenberg, son-in-law Harvey Pfeffer, sister Minnie Rachlis and her husband Morris. Also brothers-in-law Paul and John Semchuk, and many other in-laws on both sides of the family. Dad's working career was in the grain industry starting with Midland Flour Mill and until his retirement, Kanee Grain. Dad was active in many sports - football, curling, golf and swimming. However he enjoyed his trips south with his wife Cookie the most. Dad was an active member of the General Monash Legion, Maple Leaf Curling Club and Bel Acres Golf Course. He maintained an active lifestyle into his 80th year when a stroke limited the majority if not all of the above. During his last years Dad and Mom lived at Amber Meadow where they met and cherished many friendships. Funeral took place at the Chesed Shel Emes Chapel December 28 with interment at B'Nay Abraham Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harvey Greenberg, Issy Pfeffer, David Pfeffer, Bruce Granove, Al Feder and Richard Steiman. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Rest In Peace Dad - we'll miss you.
