KAROLINA TYMCZYSZYN (nee HAMERNIK) Peacefully on December 24, 2004, Karolina Tymczyszyn passed away at St. Joseph's Residence. She celebrated her 101st birthday on December 15, 2004. Karolina was born in Poland in 1903 and immigrated to Canada in 1949. She was predeceased by her husband John; son Kazimierz; daughter Stephania; and two sons-in-law, Stanley and Ted. Karolina leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter Mary Figura as well as nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for the exceptional and loving care of Mom for the last six years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karolina's memory to Holy Ghost Church or to CancerCare Manitoba. A funeral mass celebrating Karolina's life will be held on Thursday, December 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Viewing will be one half hour prior to service.
