CHRYSANTHI PAULOS (nee GINAKES) It is with sadness the family announces of the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Friday, December 24, 2004. She passed away peacefully at West Park Manor with family and friends at her side. Chrysanthi was born in 1909 in Niata, Laconias, Greece. She lived in Canada and the United States since 1959. Chrysanthi was predeceased by her husband Sam, granddaughter Chrysanthi and her son-in-law Chris Cholakis. She is survived by her children, Lillian Cholakis, James (Maria) Paulos, Anastasia (Jack) Cretekos, Dr. Konstantino (Sofia) Paulos; grandchildren, Drs. Ernest (Anastasia) Cholakis, Nicholas (Catherine) Cretekos, Sam (Karen) Cretekos, Anna (Dean) Dovolis, Sam J. Paulos, Chris Cretekos, Sam K. Paulos, Dr. B. Dulat; great-grandchildren, Stacey, Ana, Eleni Cretekos, Lillie, Alexia, Christiana, Penelope Cholakis, Christina, James, Elizabeth Dovolis, Arjan D. Dulat; sisters-in-law, Julia Paulos, Martha Paulos and Afrodite Ginakes; many nephews and nieces. Mother was a lifelong member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and a hardworking member of the Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society. She will be remembered by her family and many friends as a loving, optimistic and loyal person. Pallbearers are Chrysanthi's grandsons Dr. Ernest Cholakis, Sam J. Paulos, Sam K. Paulos and her nephew Demos (Jim) Ginakes. Rev. Fr. Dimitrios Gianniou will officiate at the funeral. A service of prayer to celebrate her life will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 30 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave.. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 31 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
