Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT CLIFFORD DUCHARME May 2, 1944 - December 23, 2004 Sadly, Clifford, aged 60 and dearly beloved husband of his late wife of 25 years, Theresa, who passed away six months ago, entered into his eternal rest at his home in Transcona, on December 23, 2004. Clifford's memory will be forever cherished by his mother Bertha Ducharme (nee Richard); his brothers, John (Nancy) and Martin (Rachel) and his sisters, Sylvia (Frank) and Marie (Gilles); his numerous nieces and nephews, as well as Theresa's large family of siblings and their families. His father Joseph, his sister Rosalie Hatch, brother-in-law Ron Sanderson and nephew Daryl Ducharme predeceased him. Clifford was born in St. Laurent, MB and was the proud son of the Metis Nation and a committed supporter of the disabled community. He had been employed for more than 29 years with the City of Winnipeg Transit Service. He will be missed and fondly remembered by his large extended family and his many friends. Prayers will be sung on Thursday, December 30 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church (wheelchair accessible), 400 Day St., Transcona. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, December 31 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael Krochak officiating. Service will terminate at the Church with cremation to follow. A most sincere thank you is extended to all those professionals and friends that provided medical attention and regular home-care service these past years. He always appreciated the kindness and dedicated support that was provided to him. We pray that God grants Cliff a special place among the Saints in heaven, including his wife and close friend Theresa and that his memory will be eternally with us. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Liver and Kidney Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated.
