Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARRY BELL It is with sadness and heavy hearts the family announces the passing of our brother, son, dad, uncle and friend Barry Bell on Sunday, December 26, 2004 at Selkirk General Hospital. Barry was born in Bissett, MB on February 5, 1962. The family moved to Selkirk in 1966. Barry worked at different jobs including B B Contractors and Krynski and Associates until he got hurt in 1991 leaving him a paraplegic. Though many would find this devastating, Barry still found ways to be himself. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sending flowers, karaoke and socializing with friends and family. Those that knew him well will have many fond memories of his smart wit and how his door was always open to friends and family. He leaves to mourn his son Stephen; daughter Coral; father Hannes; brothers, Hannes, Wes (Helen), Miles (Gail), Terry (Joanne), Bruce (Nola); sister Lovisa (Kevin); sister-in-law Marcia; and numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Winniefred (January 2, 2004) and brother and friend Dwight (January 25, 2004). Barry was known and will be remembered for his sense of humour, generous heart and feisty attitude. We will remember you. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St. in Selkirk with the Memorial service held Thursday, December 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Selkirk Aboriginal Redemption Center Church, 209 Dufferin Ave., Selkirk. Pastor Ray Settee will officiate. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Sally, Debbie, Cleo, Lorna, Ron and all who helped care for Barry. Thank you to Dr. Demsas, nurses and staff at Selkirk and District General Hospital for all their care and support. Gilbart Funeral Home Selkirk in care of arrangements.
