ANNA BAYDACK (nee HALLIDAY) Peacefully, Anna Baydack Auntie Ann passed away at Riverview Health Centre, on Friday, December 24, 2004. She leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews, and their families. Anna was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Sophia; her beloved husband Robert; sisters, Marion Carr, Nettie Smilski; three brothers, Harry, Joseph and Mitchell Halliday. Anna was born in Winnipeg, on November 3, 1912. She married Robert in 1931, and they celebrated 65 years of marriage, until his death in 1996. Anna was a long standing parishioner of Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, and was an active member of the UCWL. She was also a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of Holy Family Nursing Home. Anna and Robert loved spending their summers with their family and friends at their cottage at Farlane, ON. Anna was a generous, kind and compassionate lady, always ready to lend a helping hand. She will be missed by her family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 31 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with Rev. Deacon N. Kohuch officiating. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, with reception to follow. Pallbearers will be Robert Smilski, Doug Carr, Murray Wakeman, Dennis Kozak, Leonard Baydack and Rick Baydack. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff on B1 at Riverview Health Centre for their kind care and assistance over the last eight years.
