JASON LEE WEBB 1982 - 2004 On December 28, 2004, Jason passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at home with his parents by his side. He was 22 years old. Jason is survived by his parents Harrell and Nancy Webb (Leite); his sister Ilona; brother-in-law Eric Funk; grandparents Edna Webb and Alf and Betty Leite; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Jason was predeceased by his grandfather Alfred James Webb; and his aunt Debbie Leite (Bauer). Jason was born in Winnipeg and lived all his life in the Grunthal area of Manitoba. He graduated from Green Valley Collegiate in 2001. Jason loved life. His infectious laugh and love of a good joke filled any room he was in. He enjoyed his video games, and even with his visual impairment, played them daily. He also found great enjoyment working as a volunteer at St. Boniface Hospital where he sold raffle tickets and helped in other areas. He always wanted to be useful and felt good about his volunteering. He also enjoyed his time at the CNIB, where he participated in the PARTY group. There will be no funeral, in accordance with Jason's wishes. Cremation has taken place. His parents will have an open house on January 8, 2005, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. when friends and family can stop by for a time of remembrance for this remarkable young man. The family wishes to thank all those who supported and helped Jason through the years. You know who you are, you are just too numerous to list here. Thank you all.
