Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN REBECCA MCLEAN Jean Rebecca McLean passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2004, at the age of 76 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Donna Jean McLean - Burley of Florida; her son-in-law Ed Soch of Lethbridge; five grandchildren, Tara Jean Burley and her fiance James David Causey Jr., Bobie Dawn Tanya Burley, Jaime Jim (Peggy) Torrebadell, Jeanie Torrebadell and Sean Torrebadell; five great-grandchildren, James David Causey III, Anastasia Torrebadell, Teana Torrebadell, Jaime Torrebadell and Sharlaina Torrebadell; her brother Russell (Anne) Short and her sister-in-law Velma Short all of Swift Current; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She retired to Winnipeg to be closer to family and then moved to Redcliff in the late 90's. Jean was a member of both the American and Canadian Legions, the Elks, Moose, and Eagles Clubs, the Elmwood Wildlife Association in Winnipeg, the Eastern Star, and a life member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation. She enjoyed painting and fishing and once caught a 740 lb. Tuna. As was her wish, cremation has taken place and no memorial service will be held. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to any Legion, or the Medicine Hat Cancer Clinic, 666 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, T1A 4H6 or to any Wildlife Association.
