Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARLENE RACHELLE MARIE BAZIUK (nee LAMBERT) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. With her family by her side Marlene went to the Lord on December 27, 2004. She was extremely loved and will be deeply missed by her loving devoted husband Michael of 38 years; daughters, Christine (Garth) Lord and Angela (Jeff) Anderson; her precious granddaughters, Ainsley, Caley, Nicole and Roslyn. Marlene is also survived by her parents, Albert and Fabiola Lambert; brother Wayne (Monique) Lambert; sister Michelle (Michael) Deriwanko; brother-in-law Jarvis (Diane) Baziuk and her beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her in-laws, Alex and Anne Baziuk; brother-in-law Morris Baziuk along with her two grandmothers, Emma Lambert and Marie Anne Rosseau and numerous family awaiting her. Marlene was born on February 20, 1947 in St. Boniface. She was raised and lived her life in St. Vital. At the age of 15 she met the love of her life Michael and at the age of 19, March 7, 1966, they were wed. Marlene loved being around family and friends, she bonded with others unconditionally and had a strong friendship with many. She will be missed by numerous friends of her two daughters as she always welcomed them into her home and enjoyed their youthfulness. She always thought of others and would help in any way. For several years she was employed by Eatons Department Store as a Comptometer Operator. After the earlier years of raising her daughters she enjoyed her eight year employment with the Victorian Order of Nurses caring for those in need. In healthier days she enjoyed reading, creative writing, numerous arts and crafts, family camping and from an early age spending time at her family cottage in Albert Beach. Marlene's love of babies resulted in numerous family pets throughout the years. The need to mother was always strong. Marlene had a strong faith in God and throughout the years contributed her services to helping the church as well as enjoying the fellowship of Bible Study. She will always be remembered for being the organizer of family events (Dews), as she would say. Through her faith she gave her family the strength to accept her passing and know that the Lord has embraced her. Rest peacefully our sweet Mama Bear until we meet again. To my precious wife, my (marushka), you will be in my heart and memories always and forever. Rest peacefully until we're together again. Many thanks to the staff at Victoria Hospital ICU and a special thanks to her family physicians, Dr. Richard Blouw and Dr. Dane Hershberg for many years of care. Services will be held at Christ the King, 847 St. Mary's Rd. on January 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Renato Pasinato presiding. WOJCIK'S FUNERAL SERVICES 897-4665.

I've never meet Marlene, but have heard many wonderful stories from Angela and my sister, about how caring and loving and what a sweet lady she was. May she rest in peace, and be welcomed with open arms to our lord up above. From Angie Johnston - Posted by: Angie Johnston (Friend) on: Dec 31, 2004
