On January 5, 1954 he married Louwina De Wit and they lived and raised their family in the Carman area. The early immigrant years were often difficult but Jack was richly blessed and guided by the Lord, in whom he put his trust. He was a hard working, honest and generous man. In the early years, he worked in farm labour, logging, construction, coal hauling and market gardening. In 1964, Dad began a greenhouse business which has grown beyond his expectations. In the last number of years, Jack and Louwina wintered in Florida and that is also where Dad passed away. • Louwina and family, My thoughts are with you. I remember so well when your family arrived in Canada. I remember also when Jack arrived. I think his first home in Canada may have been with my parents, Lyle and Ellen McCullough. - Posted by: Elaine McCullough May (Friend) on: Jan 02, 2005
