PATRICIA KATHLEEN O'SULLIVAN Peacefully, on December 30, 2004, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's, Pat passed away at Vista Park Lodge at age 76. She is survived by her son Paul Newsome; sisters, Jewel O'Sullivan and Mary Herriot; and her brother Jim (Margaret). She is also survived by her nieces, Patricia Johnston, Barbara Herriot-Miller (Ted), Nancy Militano (Carmine), Mary Elizabeth Deane (Brian); and nephews, Rob Herriot and Eugene O'Sullivan; as well as her son-in-law Gerry Weigelt. She was predeceased by her only daughter Cathy Newsome in 2000, her brother John in 1976, her sister Helen in 1986 and her parents. Pat was born November 10, 1928 in Winnipeg and lived her life here. She attended St. Mary's Academy and the University of Manitoba, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1949. After raising her family, Pat returned to the University of Manitoba and graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 1981. We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Vista Park Lodge who provided unfailing care and kindness throughout the years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at St. Ignatius Church located at Corydon and Stafford. Afterwards there will be refreshments at the church. A private interment will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
