Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL GORDON WILSON It is with deep sorrow the family announces the unexpected passing of Paul Wilson in Swan River, on December 23, 2004, at the age of 47 years. Paul was born in Portage la Prairie on December 28, 1957 to Milton and Aline (nee Marleau) Wilson at Gabriola Island, BC. Paul leaves to mourn his passing his wife and best friend Donna; sons, Wade and Matthew; daughter Kally and grandson Damian; brothers, Samuel Wilson of Piapot, SK, Tony Wilson (Kathy Richter) of Calgary, AB; sisters, Marielle (Duncan) Kennedy of Gabriola Island, BC, Anita (Jim) Sherbino of Sylvan Lake, AB. He will be lovingly remembered by his in-laws, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leslie and Loretta Ivaniski of Gypsumville, MB, Leslie Ann (Tom) Kostiuk of Thompson, MB, Kathy (Steve) Short of Winnipeg, MB, Bill (Joanne) Ivaniski of Red Lake, ON, Barb (Ross) Maines of Calgary, AB, Terry (Darren) Plummer of Calgary, AB; numerous nieces and nephews, good friends, Archie Carlson of Winnipegosis, MB and Brian Carlson of Thompson, MB and many more. He loved the north country. He worked in Yellowknife, NWT, Baffin Island and at Inco. Ltd. in Thompson, MB from 1989 - 2000. At the time of his passing, he worked at Ag Shield in Benito, MB. Paul will always be remembered for his happy go lucky ways. He had a laugh that we will never forget. Paul was always ready and willing to help anyone with machinery or car repairs. He really enjoyed the time that he spent with his children. Paul was diagnosed later in life with diabetes. He had a very hard time accepting his illness because it meant that he could no longer do the work that he loved best, repairing heavy equipment. A celebration of Paul's life will be held at Swan Valley Funeral Home, Swan River, MB on January 8 at 2:00 p.m. Lunch will follow at the Legion Hall in Swan River, MB. In memory of Paul, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
