JEAN CROSSLEY With great sadness we announce that after a happy and fulfilling life of being a dedicated mother, loving grandmother, beloved wife and friend, Jean died on December 27, 2004, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, at the age of 64. Jean endured courageously a heroic battle with cancer and left this world in peace and with dignity. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Nancy and son-in-law Carl, and by her son Guy and daughter-in-law Lindy. She was a cherished Nanny to Hannah and Tyrah, Alexa and Mitchell. She was also the wife of Doug Crossley, sister to Doug Gray, sister-in-law to Jeanine, aunt to Matthew and Mark. She will be fondly remembered by family, friends and colleagues of the Canadian television industry, where she worked as a makeup artist for over 45 years. Anyone who knew Jean and loved her was very blessed. She was a kind, loving, generous, talented, caring, and compassionate soul who made the world a better place. A memorial service will be held in her honour on Tuesday, January 4 at 1:00 p.m. at the Carfrae Chapel at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Following a private family interment, friends are welcome to come to 25 Old Park Road and also in the evening for Shiva.
