Ann will be remembered as a grand lady, with much strength and courage, who gave so freely from her heart, to all she cherished and loved, and who continuously put the feelings and comfort of those she loved before her own. The family extends their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. G. Schroeder, Kim Paradoski, Pam Johnston, and palliative home care services, for all their kindness, care and assistance they so willingly provided. Special thanks to nurses, Gwen, Florence; and caregivers, Jazna and Pam, for their excellent care and kindness, in ensuring that Mother's comfort and dignity was honoured, as well as their deepest respects shown towards our mother and the family throughout our journey. In honour and respect of Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place, with no prayers or services to follow. In lieu of flowers, at the request of the family, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot St., Winnipeg, MB. How can I tell you, Mother, Of the love I hold for you, For devotion that you gave so freely, And love that has always been true? Through the tender and innocent childhood, Though the trials and tests seemed so long, You were there through the sunshine and shadows, Lifting up or rejoicing in song. When the darkness came down like a torrent, There was hope shining still in your eyes, When I came upon some small honour, Your joy made it seem your own prize. If the Lord set before me a legion, Of wonderful mothers to choose, My eyes would search frantically through them, For Mother, my choice would be you! Our hope in still in your saviour, Our guide is the same that led you Eternity...Faith! We believe it! Will find us in Heaven with you! Rest in peace dear Mother, All our love...your family.

Dear Mike and Kim It was with great sadness when we heard mom was sick and even more so when we heard of her passing. Myself as well as Sarah and Jackie will always have fond memories of a woman who loved to laugh and have fun. She was always a joy to see at games because regardless of how we did she was always there to cheer us on, she will be missed by all who knew her. Please accept our heart felt condolences to all of your family, from all of mine. - Posted by: David Mackintosh (Acquaintance) on: Jan 05, 2005
