MARY PARALUCH Peacefully, on Thursday, December 30, 2004, Mary Paraluch passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 84 years. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, John; her son David (Janis) and their children, Gracie and Jackson; daughter Nadine (Jim) and their children, Tania (Brent) and Colin; brothers, Peter (Evelyn) and Nick (Ruth); many nieces and nephews. Mary passed on the day of arrival of her first great-grandchild, Daniel James, born to Tania and Brent. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Dmytro and Anna Ferens; her sisters, Sophie, Lena, and Ada; her brothers, Mike, Bill, John, and Eric. Mary devoted her life to her family. She lived her life with love and concern for others. She was deeply spiritual and was always ready to help at church. She worked along side of her husband to run a grocery store business and she was an Avon representative for nearly 40 years. Mary has made many friends through her life and will be deeply missed by everyone she has touched. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors who worked so hard to make her last days more comfortable. Prayers will be on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 5 at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Mary the Protectress, 820 Burrows Ave. at 10:00 a.m., with interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
