PETER SMORHAN (UNCLE PETER) July 20, 1914 - December 29, 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter. Peter was predeceased by his mother Josephine; father Peter; sister Mary; nephew Johnny Fedoruk; and brothers-in-law, Peter, Art and Henry. Left to mourn his passing are his sister Stella Kupniski; nieces, Patricia MacPhail (Ross), Judi Bourgouin, Crystal Bourgouin (Allan), little niece Addie; and many cousins and friends. A veteran of the Second World War, Peter joined the Canadian Army in 1939 and went overseas as a member of the RCASC. Peter worked in the oil fields in Alberta, was a painter and decorator and worked for Old Dutch Potato Chips. Peter was legally blind for many years. The way he coped with his disability was truly amazing. He was admired by many. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Central Park Lodge, Poseidon, 5th floor for their tender love and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance. He was Uncle Peter to everyone. We will miss you Uncle Peter. May God keep you in His loving care. Love you. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
