MARGARET (DOLLY) BOWYER (nee VICZINA) Margaret Bowyer passed away January 1, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred after 65 years of marriage on January 1, 2004; her son Albert in 1963; brothers, John, George, Lawrence, Edward and Vincent; sisters, Mary and Anne. Margaret is survived by her two sons, William and James (Kathleen); daughter Bev; grandchildren, Debra and Michael; great-grandchildren, Troy, Nicole and Chance; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was born in Winnipeg on October 7, 1917. She moved to Toronto for a short time and moved back to Winnipeg at a very young age. Her school years were spent in the north end of the city, where she met and married Wilfred. Right from the start she was a stay at home wife and soon after mother. She was completely dedicated to these roles, right to the end. When mom's health would allow she enjoyed travelling to Hawaii, Las Vegas and Florida with her daughter Bev. The two things that we will remember about mom are her sensitivity and caring. By request, cremation has taken place and no formal memorial service will be held.
