OLGA LEBITT (nee KOTOWICH) Peacefully, Mrs. Olga Lebitt, aged 73 years, of Hazelridge, MB passed away at her residence on Friday, December 31, 2004. Mom was born in 1931 in Sapton, MB where she received her schooling. Later she attended Teacher's College and taught school in Elma. She married Steve in July 25, 1953 and together they farmed in Hazelridge. Mom continued to teach Ukrainian part-time at various schools in the area. Mom will be fondly remembered for her generosity and giving heart, her cooking, Easter eggs and volunteer work at church. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Greg, Chris, Lucian (wife Karen); her brother Matt (wife Verna) and half-sister Mary Mcleod. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1997; her sister Sophie (Sister Sabina, S.S.M.I.); her brother John Kotowich and three half-sisters, Jessie Gradley, Stephanie Bruce and Antonia Kotowich. Prayers will be offered on Friday, January 7, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. T. Kowch officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Wayne, Walter Dudych, Mark and James Hnatishin, Joe Samson, Grant Devris and Dr. John Kobelka. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olga's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
