DORIS DARIA KOLODICHUK (nee KISELEW) We deeply regret the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Doris Kolodichuk on Saturday, January 1, 2005. Doris was born March 21, 1922 in Nowogeorgiewsk, Ukraine, and came to Canada in 1948. She settled in Winnipegosis, MB, with Mike Pascal. Later married John Kolodichuk and they farmed together in Pine River, MB. She was predeceased by her spouses, Mike Pascal and John Kolodichuk; her daughter Valentina in 1945; her parents, Anna and Panko Kiselew; grandson Daniel Baker; and all of her sisters and brothers. Doris is survived by her daughters, Helen Doerksen (Garnet) and Joyce (Wade) Baker; sons, Stan (Marni) Pascal and Johnny Kolodichuk. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of the Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 6 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. Don't grieve for me for now I'm free. She will be missed greatly. We love you, Mom. Rest in Peace.
