ROBERT (BOB) JOSEPH BUCHBERGER February 28, 1937 - January 2, 2005 After a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Bob passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 67 years. Bob was born February 28, 1937 in Langenburg, Saskatchewan and moved to Winnipeg at 17 years of age. Bob is survived by his children, Debbie Hoshowski (Gary), Fred (Shannon), Grant (Dianne) and their mother Sharon Wiebe. Also left to mourn are his wife Arlene, children Robert and Silena, nine grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. We would like to express sincere thanks to the following for their excellent care of Dad; Concordia Hospital Oncology Department, CancerCare Manitoba, Palliative Care and especially Arlene for her constant love and support. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
