FRED ZAMERUK Suddenly, on December 30, 2004 Fred Zameruk, aged 70 years, passed away at Concordia Hospital. His wife Mabel of 46 years; parents, Peter Zameruk and Tena Bobyn; and sister Olga, predeceased Fred. He leaves to mourn, daughters, Bev (Wayne) Hradowy and Jan (Gord) Hosking; grandchildren, Cassandra and Colin; two brothers, three sisters, numerous relatives and friends. Fred enjoyed the cottage at Winnipeg Beach where many happy hours were spent with his family and friends. He retired from Northern Blower in 2000 where he worked for 33 years. The friends he made there will miss him. Kendall's was a particularly favourite meeting place for Fred and his cronies, where they would, on a regular basis, solve the world's problems amongst themselves. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., interment at All Saints Cemetery, followed by lunch at Cropo Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Dad God took you away too quickly and we never had a chance to say goodbye. We will miss and remember you always.
