ELIZABETH PENNER January 16, 1927 - January 3, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Penner announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer at the Riverview Health Centre. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 59 years, Gerhard; daughters, Diane (Les) of Mission, BC, Linda (Gerry) of Lethbridge, AB, Jacky (Alcide) of Medicine Hat, AB and Lottie of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren as well as numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by one daughter, parents, sisters, one brother, two granddaughters and one grandson. A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home with a reception to follow. Mom was known and will be remembered for her great attitude and her loving ways. Forever Young Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. The family would like to thank all who helped with her care from the Health Sciences Centre Emergency all GD3 Staff and Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba.
