WALTER ALEXANDER SONTAG It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Walter Sontag on Saturday, January 1, 2005. Walter was born January 14, 1947. He attended school in Cook's Creek, and in Oakbank. After finishing high school, he worked for several years at Chicago Blower, before moving to New Flyer Industries, where he continued to work until his passing. Walter will be sadly missed by his wife Donna (nee Kramble); their sons, Tommy and Derek, and daughter Robin. He is also survived by his brothers, Ken (Valerie), Gordon (Bonita); sister Shelley (Glen Ambrose); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Jean, father Frank, sister Terry, and brother Phil. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main St. in Winnipeg, with Fr. Sebastian Gacki presiding. The family wishes to thank the staff at the MICU at Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. We did not think your work here was done Walter, but God needed your generous nature more so He called you home. Rest peacefully until we all meet again. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
