EARL JAMES MCDONALD On Sunday, January 2, 2005 Earl McDonald passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie at the age of 83 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Winnie of Portage la Prairie; daughter Joanne (Doug) Major of Winnipeg; son Bill McDonald of Lethbridge Alberta; son Keith (Bev) McDonald of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Amy Major of Winnipeg, Chris (Paula) McDonald and Heath McDonald of Lethbridge AB, Jill and Scott McDonald of Winnipeg; Ardelle of Lethbridge the mother of Chris and Heath; brother Doug McDonald of Port Alberni, BC; sisters, Shirley (Tom) Whyte of Dauphin, MB, Grace Burgess of Kitchener, ON and Mildred Searls of Calgary, AB along with many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie with Rev. Julie Baker officiating. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Earl's memory to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, or to the Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie, or to the Asian Disaster Fund with the Red Cross.
