Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK EWASKIW (EVANS) Frank passed away peacefully on December 31, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Annie; sister Mary and brother Peter; daughter-in-law Robin and grandson Keith. Frank is lovingly remembered by his wife, Katherine of 66 years; their sons, Gary (Terri) and Gordon (Lorraine); one daughter Dorothy; grandchildren, Brad, Kathy, Paula (Sean) and Kris (Greg) and great-grandson Alex. He is also survived by two sisters, Sophie and Olive; nieces and nephews, especially Pat (Paul) and several friends and neighbours. Frank was a kind and caring person, always willing to lend a hand. He worked for Canada Packers as a millwright, almost his entire life and retired in 1980. Throughout his life, he enjoyed bowling, curling and working in the yard. He liked to travel, which included several trips to Hawaii. He also attended St. Edward's Parish for over 50 years. For the past year, he resided at Holy Family Nursing Home where he joined in several activities and events. He also enjoyed dinner outings with his family. The family would like to thank St. Boniface Hospital, emergency and the caring staff on 6A South for their wonderful care throughout his life. Also, to Dr. Kvern and Dr. Emerson of the Family Medical Centre, St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
