NORA STUART ALEXANDER Peacefully, on Friday, December 31, 2004, Nora passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 97 years. Nora was born on April 13, 1907, in England, the only child of the late Amy and Thomas Alexander. She was a very active member in the community and loved by many friends. Nora was a lifelong member of the St. Vital United Church, The Camera Club, Winnipeg Seniors Choir, The Telephone Pioneers and St. Ignatius Seniors. As well, she was a very active member of the St. Vital Historical Society. This Nora really enjoyed, as she knew so much about St. Vital, having lived there for a greater part of her life. Nora's funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Mary's Road United Church, 613 St. Mary's Rd., with Rev. Susan Tough officiating. For those who wish, viewing will be held one half hour prior to Nora's funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date in the Elmwood Cemetery. Many thanks to the staff of the Victoria General Hospital, 3rd Floor nurses, Dr. Thottingal and to all her Home Care Workers. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Nora's memory may be made to the Asthma Society of Canada, 130 Bridgeland Ave., Suite 425, Toronto, ON M6A 1Z4 or to a charity of your choice. Goodbye my friends, my life has passed. I loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me, but courage take. Love each other, for my sake. For those you love don't go away, They walk beside you everyday. Forever in our hearts. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
