RUTH COUCH It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Eileen Couch. She was a loving wife, mother and gramma. Gramma-Honey passed away peacefully in her home on January 4, 2005 with her family at her side. She is survived by her husband, Murray of 47 years; children, Bryan (Lynn), Tami (Curt) and Cathy; grandchildren, Celine, Adria, Stefan, Brock, Jackson and Blake; brother Dennis (Bernice) of British Columbia; Aunt Pat, Aunt Rena, Aunt Phyllis Henry, relatives and countless friends. Ruth is predeceased by her parents, Bill and Eileen and brother Danny McKee. Ruth was born and raised in Winnipeg and graduated from nursing as an R.N. in 1957. Ruth loved the outdoors, to fish, hunt, hike, canoe and travel. Mom lived each day to the fullest spending every available moment with her family, never missing any sporting events involving the kids. Travelling to Japan for hockey with her grandson, catching the biggest fish at the cabin, shopping with the girls in British Columbia were a few of her fondest memories. Thanks for all the hugs and kisses, baking, flowers, cards and phone calls. We will always remember Ruth's courage, hopefulness and zest for life, we love and miss you Mom. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Kenn Garrity will officiate. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
