Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINA HARDER (nee TOEWS) 1910 - 2005 On Monday, January 3, 2005 at the Salem Home in Winkler, Katherina Harder (nee Toews), aged 94 years, of Winkler, MB formerly of Plum Coulee, MB went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing 10 daughters, Helen Harder of Winkler, Ann Falk of Winnipeg, Kerry Falk of Winnipeg, Ruth and Cornie Peters of Winnipeg, Mary and Ray Blanchard of Kingston, ON, Sadie and Bill Peters of Stonewall, MB, Dorothy and Pete Klassen of Altona, Elizabeth Gemmill of Las Vegas, Nevada, Margaret and Dale Hancock of Manitou, Susan Chuchmuch of Winnipeg; two sons, John and Lorraine of Vernon, BC, Ben and Pearl of Kelowna, BC; 28 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John B. Harder (1986); two sons, William and Edwin in infancy; one granddaughter in infancy; three sons-in-law. Pallbearers will be Jack Harder, Murray Klassen, Dwayne Falk, Clifford Horsefall, Trevor Peters and Kelvin Peters. Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121-8th St., Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will held on Friday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Rev. Abe Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow at Weidenfeld Cemetery. Special thanks to all caregivers at Salem Home and to Rev. Abe Wiebe and Pastor David Friesen of Salem Home.
