MARYANNE NEILSON (nee LEDOUX) With her husband Craig and her sister Sandra by her side, Maryanne Neilson passed away on January 2, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. Maryanne was predeceased by her father Bill. Left to cherish her loving memory, are her husband Craig Neilson; two beautiful sons, Jeremiah and Jordon George. Also left to mourn, her mother Mary Violet Genaille; sisters and brothers, Brenda Ledoux, Ramona Cockriel of Regina, David Ledoux, Sandra Ledoux, Rachel-Lee Robinson, Lucien Ledoux, and Dina Robinson; also numerous nieces, nephews and relatives all across Canada. She was born on December 5, 1968 in Sioux Lookout, to Mary Violet and Thomas William Bill Ledoux. She will be remembered as a loving and supportive wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Our family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff of the following for their excellent care and compassion: the Women's Hospital - Health Sciences Centre, CancerCare Clinic, St. Boniface Hospital and Palliative Care Unit, and all of the homecare providers. Viewing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, all at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maryanne's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. I was so sorry to hear that Maryanne had passed. All though we had lost touch over the years, I still thought of her often. It was just New Year's Day when we last talked about her. I have lots of great memories of our "Wabigoon" days. We had alot of fun growing into women together. Maryanne and I attended public and high school together and she was a great friend. I have lots of great memories of all the fun we had. I lost contact with Maryanne after High School and was very sad to hear she was gone.
