JOSE DA CUNHA FIGUEIREDO NENIM Peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 our beloved Nenim passed away at the age of 87. He leaves behind his loving family, Ines (Gilbert) Galvao, Cindy (Luis) Amaral and daughters, Tammy (Alessandro) Cianni and daughter, Maria (Antonio) and Charlene Figueiredo, Jose (Aida), Jason, Mark (Caterina) Figueiredo, Elizabeth (Jose), Stephanie (Moses), Peter (Caterina) Reis, Lisa (Emanuel) Machado and daughter. He also leaves behind Maria P. Figueiredo and the late Jose Andrade Figueiredo and niece Maria Reis from Cambridge, ON. He was predeceased by nieces, Maria Conceicao Pereira (Jose) and Virginia Braga (Victrino). He also leaves behind many great-nieces, nephews and cousins. Jose was embraced lovingly by the Figueiredo family. He was truly a wonderful and caring person who will be missed very much. He loved the many children in his life and took pride in raising three generations. He had a zest for life and would often tell jokes, play pranks, and generously showered the children with special treats. The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor unit 3. Donations may be made in Jose's memory to the Alzheimer's Society. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish 181 Austin St. N. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the church as well, with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros as celebrant. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
