DAVID JOHN STONEMAN Peacefully on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 with his family and friends by his side, David John Stoneman passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 65 years. David was born on March 14, 1939 in Preeceville, SK. He is survived by his wife Marge Hudson of 27 years; mother Evelyn Stoneman (Strathmore, AB); sister Agnes (Cookie) Wolfe (Nathanael) (Elkhorn); brother Woody Stoneman (Gerry) (Calgary, AB); three sons, Vincent Stoneman (Doreen), Brad Stoneman (Tammy) and Will Hudson (Brooke); two daughters, Vicki Stoneman and Brenda Stoneman (Mark); grandchildren, Candace, Jo-Jo, Carl, Kirby, Julia, Johnathon, Hunter, Rio, Aryle and Levi; great-grandchildren, Darilyn, Avery, Tianna, Carlin, Jasmine, Marshell and Meah; nieces, Shauna, Melanie and Julie; great-nieces and nephews, Nathan, Dylan and Crystal; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Richard William Stoneman (October 1991). Prayers will be held on Friday, January 7, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr. Wake services will be held on Friday, January 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kinosota Hall, Kinosota, MB. Funeral service will also be held at the Kinosota Hall on Saturday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Kinosota Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mark McLeod, Jimmy Ross, Conrad Delorande, Albert Bruyere, Mike Prus and Norman Hudson. Honorary pallbearers are Frankie Vivier, Dennis Anderson, Sean Maher, Al Park, Kevin Gamble, Todd Mazur, Edwin Cosens, Edwin Ballantyne and Richard Cabana.
