Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN A. (JACK) McINTOSH November 27, 1928 - December 19, 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack McIntosh (Scotty) of Whytewold, Manitoba. He is survived by his children, Jacqueline, (Bill) Allan, Laura (Pat) and Anne, grandchildren Alison (Carl) Nicole, newest grandson Dallas, and great-grandson Brayden. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 1999. Jack was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, where he began a vocation in diesel mechanics which he continued throughout his life. Immigrating to Canada in 1963 with his young family he was employed at Brooks Equipment, Huggard Equipment and finally at C.P. Express, where he took early retirement due to health problems. Although Dad struggled with many health problems he was very independent. He always had a smile and a tune to whistle. He enjoyed a challenging crossword puzzle, car races on the telly, big band swing, a good cuppa' tea and his cat Sandee. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nursing staff in the Dialysis Unit at Selkirk General Hospital for their dedicated care over the years and to the S.I.C.U. at Health Sciences Centre for their compassion. Dad requested to be cremated and that there be no service. If desired, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
