GORDON EVAN YOUNG, REV. Rev. Gordon Evan Young passed away suddenly on December 9, 2004 while playing hockey, the game he loved, in Abbotsford, BC. He was born May 16, 1935 in Moose Jaw, SK. Gord will be greatly missed by Marilyn, his loving wife of 44 years; daughter Trish (Russ) Petkau and their children, Ryan and Austin; daughter Pam (Craig) McCallum and their children, Emma, Isaac, and Nigel; daughter Rhonda (James) Wheeler and their children, Jessica, Ethan, and Sammy; and son Todd (Tori). He is survived by three brothers and two sisters. Gord and his family lived in Winnipeg for many years, during which time he pastored at Transcona Alliance Church. A celebration of Gord's life and walk with God was held on Wednesday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, Abbotsford. Interment was held at Hazelwood Cemetery.
