NATALIE (DOLLY) WISENER (nee SCHNEIDER) Peacefully at Concordia Place on Wednesday, January 5, 2005, our dear Mom and precious Granny passed away at the age of 94. Dolly leaves to mourn her son Bruce (Monica) and their children, Robert (Judy), Michael (Laura), Kristin (Jeff) and Jacqueline (James); daughter Carole Collins Serpanchy (Wilkie) and her children, Cheryl Serpanchy and Jennifer Pilima (Pio); great-grandchildren, Keaton, Erika, Ashtyn, Saige and Matthew; brother Ron (Alice); sister Pauline; and sisters-in-law, Mary and Bertha. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Albert; brothers, Manuel, Bill and Hammy; and a sister Emmy. Dolly arrived in Canada at the age of two and grew up in Rhein, SK. As a young woman she moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Dad. After many moves they built the house on Chalmers Avenue, her home for over 50 years. She surrounded it with flowers and tomato plants and filled it with love and kindness. Mom led a long and exemplary life dedicated to practising her Christian beliefs. Her strength was in her faith and belief in prayer. She often reflected on her life and asked herself and God have I done a good enough job . Her home and heart were open to all. Her favourite scripture; In my house are many mansions, if it were not so; I would have told you. John 14:2. Sincere thanks to the staff at Concordia Place for all their compassion and care. By request, cremation has taken place with no formal service to be held. A private interment will take place in the spring in the family plot at Brookside Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
