PETER SHEWAGA Peacefully, at his home on January 5, 2005, Peter passed away. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Heida, daughter Debbie (Harvey), son Jeff (Jane); and grandchildren, Jaclyn, Kevin, Jacob and Isaac. He is also survived by sisters, Jean (Ray), Marge (John), and brother Joe (Joan). Peter was born in Gimli and resided in Winnipeg for the past 48 years. Pete had a deep appreciation for music and was a very talented craftsman who frequently worked on projects around his beloved home in Ft. Garry. To know him was to understand the meaning of hard work, integrity, compassion and loyalty. All of us who had the pleasure to be blessed by his presence will deeply miss the fervent backbone of his character. We love you, Peter. You will live in our hearts forever. According to Peter's wishes, no formal service will be held. A private family interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
