ALBERT NAULT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Albert Nault our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He left us peacefully on January 7, 2005 at the age of 81 at Grace Hospital. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his wife Diny, of 59 years; daughter Shirley (Ken); grandchildren, Dean, Karen (Dane), and Paul; daughter Sharon (Douglas); sisters, Doris (Bryce) and family of Fort Saskatchewan; Rose (Bill) and family of Edmonton and Calgary; May (Soli) and families of Winnipeg, Ottawa and Texas; Catherine (Larry); Marlene (Manfred) and their families of Winnipeg; brothers, Leo and Clarence (Carolyn) and their families of Edmonton; as well as numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by baby daughter Linda; his father Gedeon and mother Lea; brother Henry; sisters-in-law, Delores and Verna. A veteran of The Second World War, Albert served with the 24th Field Ambulance Unit and was stationed in the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean, and Continental Europe (Holland) where he met his wife Diny. He was employed for 33 years at CFB Winnipeg. Albert was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, enjoying nature and camping with his family. Albert also loved to work with his hands and in turn was a skilled craftsman and painter. He was always a gentleman to those who had the fortune of meeting him. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the doctors and staff at 4E of the Deer Lodge Centre for their excellent loving care. Thank you also to Grace Hospital for their support during his last few days. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 12 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Albert's memory can be made to the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca
