LINDA JONSSON Peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2005, with her family by her side, Linda passed away to be with her mother Gloria, sister Debbie and brother Jon David. She will be forever loved and remembered by husband Brian Kuysten; daughter Tamara Martz; stepson Paul (Aynslie); stepdaughter Leanne (Jody); father Lloyd; brothers, Duane (Dawn), Jeff (Raylene); nephews and nieces, Cory, Desi, Bailey and Kassie; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Linda was born in Winnipeg on April 1, 1951. She attended school in Winnipeg until the family moved to Oakbank in 1968 where she completed her schooling. Linda met Brian in 1979 and found that they shared similar passions for horses, travel, and the love of the land. Linda loved travel and adventure. She had many wonderful vacations south in the winter and across the prairies by horse in the summer. Some amazing times were spent trail riding and on wagon trains with the Broke-n-Busted Trailriders and most recently with the Back to Batoche Metis Cart Journey in 2004. Linda's passion for gardening and flowers made her yard look like a Little Piece of Heaven . She kept place in her heart for all creatures great and small. But don't forget bingo, gaming and her Stirrup Cup . Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the church at Pine Ridge. Interment to follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery. Gilbart funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
