Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA PACZKOSKI (nee BOYCHUK) On Saturday, January 8, 2005, a guardian angel came to take mother (Baba) from us while sleeping peacefully at the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 88 years. Stella was predeceased by her husband Lloyd in 1991 and son Anthony in 1998. She leaves to mourn her son Ignace; daughters-in-law, Carole Paczkoski and Mary Paczkoski; four grandchildren, Sherry Jezic, Laurie (Jay-Dee) Stansfield, Mandy (Kaylin), and Justin Paczkoski; three great-grandchildren, Chantelle Jezic, Taylor and Jasmyn Stanfield, all of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Polly Pelczar of Winnipeg, Helen, Zadorozny of Kelowna, BC, Rose Paczkoski of Swift Current, SK, Mabel Paczkoski of Roblin, MB and Olga Boychuk of Grandview, MB; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Stella was born in Merridale, MB and farmed in Shortdale, MB, with her husband Lloyd for a few years after marriage. They then operated a general store for 21 years in Shortdale. After semi-retirement they moved to Winnipeg where Stella enjoyed numerous years with her family and especially her grandchildren. Between the holidays they took, she kept busy dressmaking for grandchildren and dolls, cake decoration and caring for handicapped children. This was her way of relaxation, Stella sincerely was a loving, compassionate and caring mother (Baba). A sincere, special thank you to all the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for their professional care, concern and support. Also a special thank you to Rev. Fr. Wayne Morrissey of St. Peters Church for administering the last sacrament and conducting the service. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Maples Personal Care Home, 500 Mandalay Dr., R2P 1V4. Vigil prayers 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11 at Bardal Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral mass 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12 at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin St. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
