Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET JANE MONIAS December 1, 1932 - January 7, 2005 After a brief illness with her family at her side, Mom was called home to be with her Saviour whom she loved and served. Maggie Jane was a faithful member, choir singer and board member at Raymond Flett Memorial United Church. Maggie Jane lived in Winnipeg for 17 years. She made many friends whom she all loved and cherished. The family wishes to thank Julia and Georgette, her roommates at Seven Oaks Hospital. A big thank you to her friends and family that knew her from Sandy Lake, Sachigo Lake, Muskrat Dam, Deer Lake all in Ontario, all those in Winnipeg and Garden Hill and our gratitude goes to Chief and Council of Garden Hill First Nation and Chief and Council of Sandy Lake First Nation. Thank you to St. Boniface and Seven Oaks Hospitals M.I.C.U. doctors, nurses and staff. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Edwin; children, Roy (Charlotte), Keith (Beverly), Eleanor (Donald), Jacqueline (Ignace), Jeffrey (Norma Jean), Marina (Russell), Stanley (Jennifer), Tiras; adopted children, Anne Thomas, Eddie Linklater, Leonard Mamakeesick, Robert Kakegamic, Robert Monias, Johnnie Maneokeesick; grandchildren, Glen (Sheila), Clifford, Lillian Jane, Sophia, Murray, Rosalie, Bradley, Dawn, Allinda, Starsky, Brandon, Eric, Chelsea, Kelsey, Jeremy, Jimmy, Walter, Chris, Derek, Ersula, Randall, Darren, Janice, Marco and Tannis; great-grandchildren, Corey, Malakia, Coryna, Carleen, Eric, Glenda, Tyrek, Journey, Ashley; siblings, Epstein (Nara), Lillian (John), Harriet, Jessie (Lawrence), Isabel (John), Tiras; brother and sisters-in-law, Eliza, Kelly, Lillian (Harvey), Samaria (Donald), Edith (Joseph), Lazarus; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and most of all her best friend Maggie Jane Flett. She was predeceased by her parents, Dinah and John; mother and father-in-law, Betsy and Albert; sons, Robert, Harvey and stillborn child buried in Norway House; brother Jackson; sister Florence; grandchildren, Cortney, Cory, Erussel; great-grandchildren, Davida and Paul Charles. A wake service will be held on Monday, January 10, 7:00 p.m. at Shaughnessy United Church, 1493 Magnus Ave. at Railway Street, Winnipeg. A wake service will be held at the house of Keith Monias in Garden Hill, on Tuesday, January 11. The funeral service will be held at the Henry Fiddler Memorial United Church in Garden Hill at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
